We are excited to bring the Mr. Fiesta Competition to the Fiesta stage for the third year in a row. Come out ready to enjoy the show, cheer on your favorite, and help choose 2024’s Mr. Fiesta!
Rules & General Information
- Any person or individual over the age of 18 is eligible to enter.
- All contestants must fill out an entry form and submit it to a Fiesta Board Member.
- Application deadline is Sunday, April 28, 2024.
- There will be a contestant meeting along with dress rehearsal on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the El Cortez Theater. Time to be determined.
- Each contestant will be asked to raise money prior to and up to the main event. All proceeds will go toward the Miss Fiesta Scholarship fund. Donations can be accepted via cash, check (made out to T or C Fiesta) or PayPal.
- Contestants will choose a song to lip sync to, sing live or just dance to as part of their talent.
- Contestants will make their appearance on stage as themselves and offer some biographical information about themselves.
- Contestants will be given time to change into their formal attire.
- Contestants will appear on stage in attire of their choice — formal wear, a costume, anything attention-grabbing! — and attempt to raise funds from the audience during their allotted time slot. All proceeds will go toward the Miss Fiesta Scholarship fund.
- The winner will be determined by the individual who raises the most money by the end of the contest.
- The winner will receive a sash, crown and bragging rights.
ALL APPLICATIONS AND MUSIC SELECTIONS MUST BE TURNED IN BY SUNDAY, APRIL 28, 2024, TO CONTEST COORDINATOR MICHAEL MARTINEZ-MCGRATH.
