READY FOR SOME TRULY WACKY FUN? Grab a partner in seafaring crime and build your own unique Junk Boat – and join this one-of-a-kind race on the Rio Grande on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 12 p.m.!
While the City of Truth or Consequences has requested that additional water be released from Elephant Butte Lake on this date, the flow will be approximately half of what is normally expected during the summer. For this reason, it is not safe to travel over the rapids.
Junk Boats will launch at Riverside and Magnolia and float down to Rotary Park. For more information, call or text Jazz Otte at 575-642-9241 or Destiny Mitchell at 575-343-1775, or email info@torcfiesta.com.
