This Sierra County sibling musical duo was formed in 2021. Both multi-instrumentalists, and singer/songwriters in the roots Americana tradition. Their leanings are toward the classics performed in an improvisational rocking country blues style delivered with originality and heart. They have performed at events including Pickamania, TorC Fiesta, and in various venues across Sierra and Doña Ana Counties.

Stevie Bluetone’s mastery of guitar, harmonica, and vocals has left an indelible mark on the Southwest music scene. From his roots as a recording session artist to his tenure with acclaimed bands like the 24/7 Blues Band, Stevies’s musical journey has taken him across the country with a diverse array of artists.

Blanch Almquist, the soulful pulse on bass, brings a wealth of musical experience from her early days with strings in grade school to her time jamming on banjo in venues across Dallas, Texas. Since settling in TorC, she’s lent her talents to numerous locals acts, including Tres Javas, RGee Duo, Miner’s Garage, and the Hillsboro Pickers, showcasing her versatility in genres ranging from bluegrass to jazz to the blues.
